Introduction to felting

This class is for those of you wanting to have a toe in the water of felting. It has two projects.

The first shows how to lay flat felt in layers also introducing silk fibre to your felt. Then we use scissors, needle and thread to manipulate our flat felt into a flower.

The second project is to make a bowl. 3D felt is a huge part of making bags, hats and sculptural felt. By making this bowl you will gain an understanding of how these forms are created. I show how to lay the fibre over the template, then felt and finally shape the form.

The cost of this course is only $60 USD.

With very basic equipment you can get started as soon as your fibre arrives.

The class is an on demand set up, so you can start straight away and check back in whenever you need.
